Gig Alert: Funkagenda & Nikhil Chinapa tour India this June!

If you haven’t heard of Funkagenda by now then where have you been hiding? Over time, Groovedigitals in-house engineer has become a name synonymous with quality house music. Already having featured on labels as prominent as Subliminal, Positiva, Big Love and Toolroom, his production and remix skills are highly sought after worldwide.

Regarded as the producer`s producer, he has remixed for artists including Basement Jaxx, Moby, Fat Boy Slim and Dirty Vegas. His production contributions to the Black Eyed Peas album `The E.N.D` were recognized by an `Album of the Year` nomination and a `Best Pop Vocal Album` award at the 52nd Annual Grammys.

Winner of both the Ibiza DJ ‘Best Ibiza Track 2008′ and the Beatport ‘Best Tech House Track 2008′ award, Funkagenda was also presented with the Ibiza DJ ‘Best Newcomer 2008′ and DJ Mag ‘Best Breakthrough DJ 2009′ awards for his solo achievements. Authenticity and originality are his trademark, establishing Funkagenda a solid reputation as an innovative DJ & producer.

Funkagenda shall be touring across India this June thanks to Submerge and shall be playing a very special show along with our very own Nikhil Chinapa at Cafe Ludus, New Delhi in association with WMS Entertainment. The hit music producer & DJ best known for his tracks ‘Shinjuku’, ‘Drift’ and ‘Antidote’, is set to hit India with his infamous brand of house music.
