With weekend two of Ultra kicking off today we thought we would share our experience from weekend one. Ultra Music Festival first weekend saw some amazing performances from Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Fedde Le Grand, Sander van Doorn, Avicii, Tiesto, Calvin Harris and many more. The weekend 1 closers included Swedish House Mafia (Day 1), deadmau5 (Day 2) and Armin van Buuren (Day 3). Both deadmau5 and Swedish House Mafia are gonna play a closing set again on Weekend 2. SHM will be closing Ultra Weekend 2 on Sunday with their last ever performance before the hiatus. So be sure to catch it, as it would be one of the most memorable nights in dance music history. deadmau5 will most probably play the same set as Weekend 1, as he stated that in his ustream couple of days back. Reason being he doesn’t wanna disappoint his fans who made it to Weekend 1 and not the second or vice versa by playing a better set, in his words “it won’t be fair” ; slamming the concept of festival running on both weekends. Avicii is also going to premier his debut album during his set at Ultra this weekend, as he told that on his facebook page. So be sure to catch his set tonight.
