Nima Yamini is hosting another one of his famous New York A-list parties at a loft in Tribeca. This party will feature three upcoming trap artists, Mess Kid, ILLE, Imanos as well as himself. Along with the music we will have the pleasure of witnessing the artwork of ‘Another Motive’ aka Jordan Betten, Hanksy and Matthew Rowean. Through his state-wide experience, Nima Yamini has been able to bring many talents together to output unique parties and artwork. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Yamini moved around a lot but his passion began in Washington D.C. where he went to high school and was encouraged by his father to learn the Persian percussion instrument ‘Tombak’. Yamini made his first album when he was 18, which was sold in Baltimore and DC. His first professional experience came when he moved to LA to do an internship in the music business. After this he took a break from the industry entirely.

His first stint in New York was in 2005, where he began throwing A-list parties downtown which brought him much recognition. In 2008, Yamini started DJing and spent many months in Europe mixing around the continent getting a feel for the decks. Come 2012, through his label, AvenueA Soundcheck, Yamini began to produce parties on Monday nights by bringing on new and upcoming talent and giving the nightlife freaks a reason to venture out on the most dreaded day of the week. The New York Post called it ‘The Best Monday Night Party’ in the Summer of 2012. These parties and Yamini have been covered thoroughly in the press. Also in May of 2012, Yamini started broadcasting on air on the top rated show ‘Whoolywood Shuffle’ on Eminem’s Shade45 channel on SiriusXM with DJ Whoo Kid who he is shown with above. Yamini considers Whoo Kid a mentor figure and we’re sure he has had a huge influence on Yamini’s success.
